My friend...

here is one of my very few simple cards. One of the things I told myself I wanted to accomplish this year was to go back to my roots. When I started cardmaking I always kept my cards simple and slowly, while I was improving skills, I started complicating my layouts. I like complicated sketches, they are challenging to me, but a simple one is also challenging...
I used this wonderful freebie Dragonfly dream from Michelle Perkett that I printed twice on cardstock, colored with colored pencils, rubbed a bit of body shimmer dust on their wings, glued a rhinestone on their heads, cut and attached them on the card. I pierced their flying trails as I did around the sentiment (one of those dollar rubber stamps I had for long time)

I need to balance my creative and every day life, and this is as simple as I could do today.
