it´s all in the accessories!

how true... right?! I made this card to inspire you at Glitterbabe´s Challenge #16: Halloween! Stop by please and see what the other glitterbugs made, you´ll love all the inspirational creations this week!!!
In my country we don´t celebrate Halloween... but I liked the experience while living in the US, so much candy though... my daughter used to collect a huge amount that lasted whole year long!
I´m using here Witchy woman from Glitterbabe, that I colored with oil pastels blended with mineral oil. I cut all the images separately and applied shimmer body dust to make them all sparkly, added touches of glitter and silver metallic paint. Hand stitched the patterned paper with fine black marker, placed the images with foam tape on the card and added a sticker bat on one corner.
I also made, to complete the set, a basket, the template is very simple: a box with a long strip to make the handle. I decorated it with the same patterned paper, some scraps of black cardstock cut with edge scissors, a sentiment (from DeeDee´s digis) and another hat of the same Witchy woman set (also colored with oil pastels and glittered with shimmer body dust).
How do you like this one? I had so much fun making them!

I´m joining the following challenges too:

Hi Ileana! It's been so long since I stopped by...I hate not having a working computer!!!!

You have been VERY busy I see. You creations are all fabulous, as usual! I even took a peek at Melissa Liban's blog, and I fell in love with her adorable creations. Thanks for the tip! I love your card you made with her giraffe image. I love the gorgeous edges on what I hope will lead to many more get well cards.

Congrats on being selected to the DT at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps! Your cards are stunning! They definately made a wonderful choice when they picked you to be on the team!

Your Mother's Day card/calender is stunning with Michelle's image! I love the distressing and the special touches like the glitter and beeds on the dress. I really need to open a few boxes of beeds and start using them on some of my projects. You definately challenge us to think outside of the box!

The goodie bags are just too cute! This will be a great idea for my soon-to-be three yr. old grandson's birthday. I always give the other kids in the family a small present, so they don't become too jealous of all of the attention on one kid. It's usually just some Dollar store stuff, but it makes them feel special, too. This will definately make the little present even more special!

Well, I've already written a novel, so I better scoot! I miss the chatter on the groups, but until I get my real computer back I'm working on a loaner computer with very limited programs and freezing up problems. Take care! Lee
