Seasons greetings

Yes! I made another Christmas card! I like this one too, I love this patterned paper! actually is a double sided gift wrap paper, so sad I dind´t buy the whole bunch of them at the store where I find it... but then, they will have a different one next time and I´ll be happy again to buy it!
The image is from  Pollycraft but I couldn´t find it in their store, maybe is not listed there anymore. I colored the image with colored pencils and glittered the pom-poms on the cutie hat. I used a fiber, a snowflake and a tiny pom-pom as embellishments.
Very simple but beautiful, what do you think?!

Merry Wishes!

I´m still making Christmas cards... and I´m not sure if I´ll have them done before the holidays end, but it was fun to make some of them! Here I have a different one for you: this week we are challenging you at Glitterbabe´s Challenge to create something for Christmas without red or green and this is my take to inspire you all.
The image I´m using this time is Cardinal from Glitterbabe (you can find it at Stef´s store here) colored with colored pencils.
Let me tell you a story behind my card: I was born in one of the countries in the very south of South America: Argentina, and in particular a small city in the middle of it, it´s were the gauchos came from: La Pampa. It´s a beautiful place and I miss to look around 360° and find the horizon only.... well there lives a beautiful bird, a yellow cardinal (we have a red version too, but I´ll leave that for another time), and when Stef set the challenge I thought immediately of this little beauty.
Here I show you where my country is and the area where this cardinal lives, my homeland is the red dot ☺
I found (googled them) a picture of the real bird and the drawing I used to color Stef´s Cardinal.
It´s a gorgeous bird, that sings beautifully, and it was almost extinct when I was a child, I´m not sure if it´s still on danger, hope not!
With my card again, I used digital patterned papers from Jaime that I glittered around with silver glitter glue, a silver ribbon from my stash and a hand written sentiment finish the card.  Hope you like this one and play with us this week too!

My card fits the following challenges:
Sundays with Crissy challenge #12: Christmas is coming or winter is here
Whoopsi Daisy: ribbons and bows
Dare to be Sassy challenge #50: non traditional holiday colors
Alphabet challenge blog: G is for glitter
Frosted designs: ribbon

So kind

I decorated this paper lunch bag for a dear friend, I bought her a nice present and it deserved a nice decorated bag so here is what I made.
The cute cat is Thank you Kitty from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps that I colored with colored pencils and blended them with gamsol. I just love the happy cute face it has! I gave the flowers a bit of sparkle with glitter nail polish and added a rhinestone on their centers. The papers are from my stash and I cut the black cardstock with edge scissors. I added a silver ribbon and a safety pin decorated with pink glass seed beads. I finished the bag closure with a glittered flower in hot pink and a brad.

Frosted Designs: word challenge, thanks or thankful

Autum Mermaid...

I´m changing things around my house and I have this mirror that was screaming to be decorated before going to the wall. I used Just Breathe from Michelle Perkett, this is mermaid my second favorite image from Michelle, it´s so beautiful, I love coloring this image, whatever you do to it you´ll never go wrong.
The mermaid is colored with colored pencils in autumn colors: yellow, orange, red and green. Took four felt leaves and glued them on the mermaid instead of the flowers it original has, added two seashells and sparkled them with some orange chunk glitter. I cut the image carefully around, not an easy task I must add... there are some curls missing... can you find them?! After it was all cut I placed it on the mirror with double sided tape. And that´s it! pretty simple but stunning effect, there was no way for me to take a decent picture on mirrors...sorry about that, but believe me it´s looking great!

There is several challenge that my project fits:
Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge #51: autumn leaves
Crafty Creations challenge #91: halloween or perhaps autumn
My grafico challenge #72: add some sparkle
Dare to be Sassy challenge #44: autumn
Totally Papercrafts challenge #40: bling it on
