Love... Dream... Grow... Live...
I started this wall hanging with recycling a paper folder
Then I took a piece patterned paper I had for ages, love the bright colors it has! layered it with another piece of the same paper folder, stitched it around with embroidery floss and distressed the edges with scisors, then I placed it with foam tape. To give a little of sparkle I added some glitter glue on the patterned paper. Stamped the words with rubber stamps, cut them out individually, distressed the edges and placed them with foam tape too.
The image I´m using is
Mary, Mary from
Michelle Perkett, I colored it with colored pencils and added a few details: gloves and shoes have dimensional paint, a rhinestone on her head to replace one of the roses, turquoise glitter glue on the watering can and clear glitter glue on the water flowing from it.
The image is placed with foam tape too to add dimension.
I finish it with some old stikers to spell the word LOVE and a button; and to hang it I used a double piece of raffia. Very simple craft but very pleasing.
