Cleanning up!

I was cleanning up my craft space and I found these items
and under a layer of stuff there were: 4 paper bags I embossed with a couple of embossing folders, digital images I pirnted out and colored some of them, a paper napking from IKEA, some paper from an advertisement I liked and saved it to make something with it.
an hour, and a few clear stamps and ink later, I ended up with this set of four (sorry about the pictures but it´s night already here...) I changed my mind a bit while making them and took a few items from my stash so they won´t look the same, but I like how they turned out!

here you have a close up of the embellishments for each of them. What do you think?
Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by! ☺

{i love you}

As school has started and most of you are back to rutine, I wanted to get back to some of my rutines too but I´m having a very hard time organizing myself to reach my goals (some of them here): keeping my house organized and clean; and crafting almost everyday.
So, for the first one I´m participating at a wonderful challenge set by Katrina, it´s amazing at how well organized this lady is! when I came across this challenge I felt a bit intimidated by it, but I know I´m a brave girl and finaly I singed up to the challenges, so far I´m not able to complete the task everyday (as I work full time) but I´m doing more than I thought I could do after work (horray for me!) and trying to finish the rest during weekends. I´ll posting my progress here ☺
For the second, I signed up to this (so far wonderful!) online class Kristina and Jennifer are teaching. Yesterday we had our first class and I was completely blown up by the quality of it, by the degree of detail involved, I know this class is going to be a turning point in my crafting life ☺ Then, after taking the lesson, and being inspired by the teachers, I did this card:

my stamping is not good yet, it has to be improved (a lot!!) but for now it´s ok... I wanted a masculine card (the most challenging for me), and I used all supplies I had in my stash. Here you have a front view

¡Felices Fiestas!

Hello friends! Here I am showing you a Christmas card I made yesterday after the cleaning bash I had at home...
First I embossed it with this fun design, I chalked the trees that bulge with lilac chalk and glittered those depressed. I placed a strip of tissue paper on the bottom, hand wrote the sentiment and faux stitched bottom and top. Then I made the embellishment out of a piece of lace, a button, a sequin snowflake and a circle of white paper.
Put the embellishment in place and added three iridescent sequins (finished them with a tiny rhinestone), can you see how they sparkle? they look better in real life though...
Hope you Sunday is going great! thank you for stopping by ☺

I´m playing at the following challenges:

Cupcake craft challenge # 209: stitches
Winter wonderland: lilac and lace

Para Ti {For You}

And here is the third one!
How gorgeous is this image??!! it´s from Floppy Latte´s that I printed it on a scrap of pearled paper and colored with colored pencils.
I took a piece of paint chip sample paper, pierced and faux stitched with black gel pen. Cut the image around and placed it with foam tape. Then I handwrote the sentiment with white gel pen and added a handmade dew drops on top, they look better in real life, sorry about the picture! they were hard to take...
Have a wonderful day!

I´m playing with it at:

Try it on Tusday: anything goes for september

Thinking of you

Here is my second card today. Another simple one! I stamped the image with gray ink and the sentiment with black, added a few dots of silver paint and silver glitter glue to add a bit of glam to it ☺

Thank you for stopping by!

Through the craft room door challenge #35: anything goes

Hello!

This is the first out of three cards I made this week (horray for me!), but because I did them at night it was not until this afternoon I had the chance to picture them...
This is a very, very (did I say "very"?) easy card to make, I just simply stamped the image with gray ink and the sentiment in black, colored it after with colored pencils, faux stitched and here you have it! love how it looks, so soft and cute...
Have a wonderful day!

I´m playing at:
Less is more challenge #84: one layer card
Just keep creating challenge #3: anything goes

I saw some challenges yesterday and they inspired me to make this card with supplies I had in my stash for a while...
clean, simple and ready in less than 10 minutes!
have a wonderful day, sending a bit of    your way...

I´m playing at:
In{k}spire_me challenge #61: sketch
10 min craft dash challenge #2
Moxie Fab World: the focal point challenge

just because...

Here I am with another card I finished last night
also with a CAS look: not much to say that inks, clear stamps, rhinestones and (old) patterned paper are the components for this one.

Two posts in a row! you should have noticed it by now, I´m very VERY busy with my studies since a year ago, that´s why I can not create as much as I want, truth is it won´t get unbusy for another year... so I hope I can keep on crafting as often as I did in the past, mainly because it keeps my sanity at bay, so please... cross your fingers I can do both my PhD and papercrafting ☺

Have a nice day and thank you for stopping by!

I´m playing at the following challenges:
ColourQ challenge #153: color combo
Waltzingmouse sketch challenge #113
Fat pages and cards with attitude challenge #21: anything goes

♥ Mom ♥

What a beautiful day we had today: clear skyes, warm sun... and on top of that I had a nice day at work so that inspired me to post a card I made a few days ago
The image is from Beccy, wonderful images by the way! pay her a visit here and you won´t be dissapointed.
I printed the flowers on an old book page and colored them with colored pencils. I added a few glass seed beads on their centers, scraps of sheer ribbon and paper, arranged them in a very clean and simple way and here you have it! ready to be sent to celebrate moms ☺ We´ll be cellebrating mother´s day next month in my country, I´ll need to make a few more for those wonderful mothers in my life

I want to play with this card in the following challenges:
Beccy´s Place: September challenge
Less is more challenge #83 : pink and brown
CYP Monday challenge #126: floral images
Atc´s and cards with attitude challenge #21: anything goes

And I also wanted to share with you a painted stone I made to a wonderful friend for his birthday
I don´t know if you´ll be reading this but thank you again Javi! you are such an amazing and caring friend.

Thank you for stopping, have a great day!
