Happy Day!

I´ve been playing in my craft room this morning, yaayy!! it felt sooo good.... In a few days will be one of my friend´s birthdays and this is the card I made for him, hope he likes it!
I kept it simple (my brain needs simplicity lately...) but I like how it turned out. I used a scrap of patterned paper (from a very old stash) that I pierced on the outside, a expresso crushed cup and two stamps I had for a long time now.
I wanted to play at The Outlawz Sunday´s clean and simple challenge this week and this is what I came up with, we are to use our tiniest stamp to make it the focal point of our card, the candles are almost an inch tall and is one of my tiniest stamps, it was a nice challenge, it made me think what could I do!

A  couple of weeks ago was one of my sister´s birthday, Daniela, and I made a pin for her with a recycled expresso cup too, she loved it! and I´m so happy she liked it

I made another one for my sister´s friend Karina
I didn´t wanted to show them before she got her present, so here you have them. I like how they turned out so I made several more that I´ll be showing them to you later ☺
Thank you for stopping! have a nice day

Thank you!

Second post today... I made this Thank You card as inspiration for The Outlawz Thursday´s Twist challenge. We are challenging you this time to use at least one of the images provided for this challenge thanks to Anne´s creative hands.

I used Maple swirls and Fall leaves from Anne´s Digital art. I printed the maple swirls on a scrap of shimmering white paper, colored the image with colored pencils and embellished it with glitter. Then I glued the paper on the card and pierce a circle to frame the image. I printed the fall leaves on scraps of newsprint paper, colored with pencils, piece them and placed them with foam tape following this sketch. Finally I punched the right corner of the card and stamped the sentiment on the bottom.
You still have time to play with us this week and the images are gorgeous! thank you for stopping!

Tea?

Loving this image! it´s one of the images you get if you participate at the Progressive Challenge at CDAC. I like this tea pot a lot (it´s from Sandi Samples) and it was a wonderful opportunity to try something new: color on craft paper with my coloring pencils.
It was fun and I´m sure will be coloring on this paper again, but I´m not completely happy with the result so there is a lot to learn! I embellished my card with a piece of sheer ribbon I didn´t want to throw away, a doily and two pearls. I stamped the sentiment on top and placed the image with foam tape for dimension. Very simple!
Thank you for looking and have a nice day!

Bundle of {JOY}

Hello my blog-land friends! Today I want to show a card I made to inspire you for our new challenge this week at The Outlawz POM challenge group. This time we are challenging you to make your own patterned paper, how great is that?!
In my case I used a set of baby clear stamps I bought a while ago and I´ve never used... (how come????!!!) they are so cute! I used the safety pin stamp to stamp in different directions a scrap of yellow paper and gave a bit of color to the images with colored pencils. I placed my patterned paper on the center of the card (beautiful white shimmering cardstock) and stamped the sentiment on the bottom. Then I stitched all around with embroidery floss and some clear glass sead beads. The main image is a stamped onesie, colored with colored pencils also, and placed it with foam tape.
I love how it looks, very simple and easy to make, hope you can join us in the fun ☺ Thank you for stopping!
