A few days ago I saw a challenge with this color combo and at first sight I found it very challenging...
but then I gave it a try (sadly it took me more time and I couldn´t play in the challenge... maybe next time?).
The card looks better IRL but I think you can see the details OK. I took a pretty patterned paper from my stash and cut two strips with an edge scissor that I layered them with a tulle ruffled ribbon. I stamped the sentiment and placed the image with foam tape.

Michelle Perkett colored with colored pencils and added a few details, glitter glue on the roses, dots of pearled paint on her hair and glossy accent on her lips. I really love the soft look all this colors together and the white background make, so pretty...
Today is my daughter 13th birthday, I think I said this last year too: where did the time go??? I can see in her a sprouting bud eager to bloom... what a blessing!
