A few days ago I saw a challenge with this color combo and at first sight I found it very challenging...
but then I gave it a try (sadly it took me more time and I couldn´t play in the challenge... maybe next time?).
The card looks better IRL but I think you can see the details OK. I took a pretty patterned paper from my stash and cut two strips with an edge scissor that I layered them with a tulle ruffled ribbon. I stamped the sentiment and placed the image with foam tape.
The image is from Michelle Perkett colored with colored pencils and added a few details, glitter glue on the roses, dots of pearled paint on her hair and glossy accent on her lips. I really love the soft look all this colors together and the white background make, so pretty...
Today is my daughter 13th birthday, I think I said this last year too: where did the time go??? I can see in her a sprouting bud eager to bloom... what a blessing!
Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday too!
I want to enter my card in the following challenges:
The shabby tea room challenge #118: shabby beautiful
Craft your passion challenge #114: anything goes
Paper crafting journey: color it up
Try it on Tuesday: anything goes

I had this image for ages, and I don´t know why I didn´t use it before... well.... here I´m using Bella and Bronte cellebrating from Mo´s Digital Pencil to make a Birthday card for a friend,
This is my first time making a monochromatic card, and I very pleased with the result. I colored the image with colored pencils and added a bit of chunk glitter to the confetti to make it sparkle a bit. I took a scrap of yellow cardstock and punched one border and tied a bow with a piece of sheer ribbon, I finished the front of the card by stamping the sentiment.
On the inside I used a sentiment from TLcCreations and I embellished it with a flower (cut with my cricut) and a black brad.
Thanks for stopping!
I´m playing with this card at:
The shabby tea room week #62: monochromatic
Kaboodle doodles challenge #67: let´s play tic tac toe (digi, die-cut/punch, glitter)
Craft your days away challenge #20: white + one
Paper sundaes challenge #69: birthday creation
The corrosive challenge #116: birthdays!

How cute is this image??!! it´s Lava lamp from Glitterbabe (check out Stef´s art shop here!) This card is very simple and here is how I made it: I colored the image with colored pencils and blended them with mineral oil. I wet my fingertip with glue and touched slightly the image, then sprinkled glitter on the lava to add sparkle! Cut the image around and placed it on the card with foam tape.
Then I took a scrap of paper to stamp the sentiment with alphabet rubber stamps (from Image Tree), cut one end and curled it a bit before attaching it to the card.
The flower is made with a piece of an old ribbon I had on my stash that I ruffled by pulling at the white thread on one side, tied it with a knot on the back and glued it to the card, then I attached an iridescent flat bottom pearl on its center. And that´s it!
I´m playing at:
The Outlawz at their Sunday´s Clean and Simple group: Recipe -> color Red and one embellishment
The shabby tea room challenge #45: white and bright
All that scraps: early valentine ideas
Little red wagon challenge #64: one layer wonder
For Fun: everything glitter

Yes! I made another Christmas card! I like this one too, I love this patterned paper! actually is a double sided gift wrap paper, so sad I dind´t buy the whole bunch of them at the store where I find it... but then, they will have a different one next time and I´ll be happy again to buy it!
The image is from Pollycraft but I couldn´t find it in their store, maybe is not listed there anymore. I colored the image with colored pencils and glittered the pom-poms on the cutie hat. I used a fiber, a snowflake and a tiny pom-pom as embellishments.
Very simple but beautiful, what do you think?!
I´m playing at:
Pollycraft challenge #73: Color scheme - pink, blue and brown
Lollipop craft challenge #19: welcome winter
The shabby tea room challenge #39: ´this the season
Digital Tuesday challenge #88: it´s cold outside
City crafter challenge #34: let it snow!
Dare to be Sassy challenge #50: non traditional holiday colors
Alphabet challenge: G is for glitter
