just Because...

I wanted to use this image from the day I got it but... so I took it out of my folder of printed-ready-to-use-images and used it on this card, how cute! I also took my folder of paper scraps and made this card in no time, love the result and love the feeling of using paper I don´t want to throw away ☺
The image is from Bugaboo stamps, I colored it with colored pencils, cut it around and placed it on the card with foam tape.
I finished the card by stamping the sentiment and adding three gorgeous sequins. Thank you for stopping by!

You are special...

Love how this card turned out, not only because I´m loving the CAS look of my cards lately but also because I´m starting to learn how to stamp images (not only print them!). I´m not very good at it yet but I´ll make it better every time... besides it´s a wonderful excuse to start spoiling myself a bit with new and colorful inks pads!
This card was very easy and quick to make, as you can see. Here you have a front view to show you a few details like some glass seed beads on the center of the flowers, glittered the butterfly wings and added a trio of pearled paint dots on the bottom left corner.
Thank you for stoppping by!

Summer days...

Love those lazy days of summer... Here is card I made using this cute duck from Bugaboo.
Here you have a closer look, I colored the image with colored pencils and added glitter and clear dimensional so it could shine a bit. I hand drawn a frame directly onto the card with a black marker and printed the sentiment. The waves are cut with my cricut and layered on the image.
I made this one to play at the Sunday´s Clean and Simple and Monday´s Greeting cards challenges at The Outlawz, we are having a summer party! there is lots of fun and prices, why don´t you come and play with us? ☺

A tag

Love this pixie, beautiful image! it´s from A day for Daisies and I made this tag to play at their challenge blog. All papers are from my stash as are the embellishments. I started by giving shape to a scrap piece of red cardstock, I used a template I found at Lilly of the Valley place that I modified a bit.
Then I cut a piece of this gorgeous embossed vellum paper and placed it on the tag, and on top of this layer I glued a piece of this gift wrap paper I used as patterned paper. I glued clear sequins around the patterned paper, once it was dry I pierced the holes to stitch light pink seed beads with white embroidery floss.
I colored the image with colored pencils and used mineral oil to blend the wax. Glittered the pixie wings and cut carefully around before placing the image with foam tape on the tag. I finished it with a piece of tinsel that I stapled it to the tag.

Snowman of ♥Love♥

This card was made in just a few minutes, I´ll try to remember this day next year when I start to make Christmas cards, maybe once in my life I won´t be late!
I opened the image (Snowman Love from Designed to Delight) and sentiment (from Elisa) in PS, open a new file with the dimension of the card and dragged the images in, resizing them to have them in the right position. Took a blank card and printed the file right on the cardstock and voilá! ready to color and embellish!
To color the image I used just colored pencils. Added a bit of decoupage glue on the hearts to give them a nice shiny look, and glittered the snow and the center of the snowflake to add sparkle. This one is for my sweetheart, hope he is not reading this!

Wishing peace

Another Christmas card, and I think it´s one of the last I´ll make this year, not because I don´t like them, on the contrary! it´s too late to send them now!!
On to my card again: I used Earth from Michelle Perkett (you can find her beautiful images here) that I colored with colored pencils, some parts are blended with mineral oil. I added dots of white pearl paint on the centers of the flowers and a few green rhinestones.
I pleated a piece of red ribbon to embellish the front of the card and attached the image with foam tape. The base of the card is an opaque acetate sheet (those you find at office supplies to bind sheets) I saved from the bin (again!) at work. I added clear stickers to write the sentiment.
On the inside I glued the patterned paper, it´s a very festive gift wrapping paper, loved the colors! I cut the borders with edge scissors and added the sentiment (from Elisa) with foam tape too and a bit of the same red ribbon. And that´s it! simple but I like it a lot too ☺
